Meet Marcy L. Allen
For more than two decades, Marcy L. Allen has stood beside people in Monroe and throughout Northeast Louisiana during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Rooted in North Louisiana
Marcy is a Union Parish native who has spent most of her life in north Louisiana, and her ties to the community run deep. She attended Northeast Louisiana University — now the University of Louisiana Monroe — where she began as a pre-pharmacy student before graduating cum laude with a degree in general studies.
From there, she earned a full scholarship to Mississippi College School of Law, where she received numerous awards and honors and graduated magna cum laude. Her academic record was only the beginning of a career defined by preparation and hard work.
Experience That Makes a Difference
Marcy began her legal career at a small family law firm in Frisco, Texas, but her family's roots drew her quickly back to Louisiana. After returning home, she spent nearly a decade with Theus, Grisham, Davis & Leigh, LLP, working in the firm's litigation section and handling complex civil matters for a wide range of clients.
She then spent time working alongside a well-respected local criminal defense attorney, where her focus increasingly turned toward criminal defense. In December of 2013, Marcy took the step of opening her own practice in Monroe — and she has been advocating for clients across Northeast Louisiana ever since.

Depending on the circumstances, a matter may be resolved through direct negotiation, settlement discussions, mediation, motions, or other legal procedures.
